You can request deletion of your UMTUBA account at any time.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, including name, biography, photos and links
• Your posts, videos, images and comments
• Your messages
• Your follow relationships
• Your activity history and preferences

What we keep, and why

• Transaction and tax records — 6 years, required by Irish law
• Safety and moderation records — up to 24 months, where an account was actioned for a serious breach, to prevent the same person returning
• Server logs — up to 12 months, then automatically removed
• Content others have shared — copies already reposted by other users remain with those users

How to request it

If you are signed in: Settings → Account → Delete account.

If you cannot sign in: email [email protected] from the address registered to the account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify your identity before acting.

What happens next

• We confirm your request by email
• Your account is deactivated immediately and is no longer visible to others
• There is a 14-day grace period during which you can cancel by signing in
• After 14 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
• We email you when deletion is complete
