A class in Salt is planning an imagined learning exhibition. The bus leaves at eight tomorrow, and the pupils are meeting a visitor at nine. Their old classroom used to have fewer shelves. Now a reading display is prepared by the club each month. Noor thinks she might become a designer, but she is still exploring. Yesterday the teacher told the class to check every claim. A small survey found that six of ten pupils preferred a quiet reading room. The class reports this result as a finding about its sample, not about every pupil in Jordan.

Our invented survey asked ten pupils about a reading space. Six preferred a quiet room. This is more than half of our small sample. The result does not represent every pupil in Jordan. Our class will ask the teacher whether a quiet room is available. We will record the decision and explain it clearly. We will meet in our imagined classroom in Salt tomorrow at nine.
