A class is visiting the centre of Ramallah. Their guide meets them beside the library. The streets are busy, so the group waits for a safe place to cross. Rania notices a modern building next to an older stone house. She asks whether every old building should be replaced. The guide invites the pupils to think about history as well as space. Later, they sit in a small public garden. There is litter near one bench, but most paths are clean. The group writes suggestions for a more welcoming city: clear paths, less litter and places where people can rest.
