Hana and her family visit a small restaurant in Bethlehem. The waiter offers them a table near the window. Hana asks politely for water and checks whether a dish contains an ingredient her brother cannot eat. The family orders vegetable soup and bread. While they wait, they talk quietly. Hana is hungry; however, she waits until everyone has food before she starts. Her father explains that customs can differ from one family to another. Asking politely is better than judging quickly. At the end of the meal, Hana thanks the waiter. The family leaves the table tidy and checks that they have taken their belongings.
